Special Screening: ‘Screenagers’ – May 9, 2018, Boise Public Library

There will be a free screening of the movie, “Screenagers” on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 6:00 PM in the Main Branch of the Boise Public Library, 715 S. Capitol Blvd., and sponsored by the Idaho Federation of Families & IPUL.

Following the short film, Victor Dominguez, the Chairman of IICACC, will be sitting in on a Q&A panel to answer questions and participate in a discussion about the film’s subject matter.

The film will be covering the various uses of Social Media by teenagers and the inherent dangers associated with abuse and overuse of their screen time on all Internet-connected devices. It is another learning tool for teenagers and their parents / guardians on how addiction to the use of this type of electronic communication and diversion can be seriously harmful to young minds.
